Now you can go to an audio track and double click on Source to choose your input.Choosing 18, 20, or 22 will generate an error the next time Cakewalk is launched. If you need to record a 20 bit source or a 24 bit source you should set the Driver Bit Depth to 24. The PCI-324 driver only supports bit depths of 16, 24, and 32. There is also an option for Driver Bit Depth.You can select your File Bit Depth to record either 16 or 24 bit files.If you are working with a digital transfer, you should be extra careful that both Cakewalk and your MOTU Hardware match the sample rate of the digital source. Look at the hardware or open the PCI-324 console if you aren't sure what is currenty selected. Be sure to choose the sample rate that matches your Motu Audio Hardware. In this window you should also choose the Sample Rate of the File you are about to record.Now choose any matching Motu Hardware ports for the Playback and Recording the Timing Master. ![]() Then select the inputs and outputs that you plan to use with your Motu Hardware.
